Artifacts in Action
Artifacts in Action are when Liv's sculpture takes form in one-of-a-kind personal artwork that you may wear or use during your everyday activities. Make no mistake, these are hand sculpted personal artworks that will decorate your daily life with originality and quality.
Liv selects and combines exotic woods and other materials from far away places, dries and hand crafts each block of materials to be used in sculpting each unique personal item as an individual artifact. Therefore, it is impossible to make exactly the same artifact in duplication! Each personal artifact comes to you with a verified and signed Certificate of Artwork Authenticity.
Artifacts in Action are hand crafted personal items that provide uncommon creativity, value, and meaning, to personal gifts for those special individuals in your life; those uncommon people who make a significantly unique contribution to you or the world they live in.

What is a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY
A Certificate of Authenticity, [CoA], provides validation that a creative or intellectual property is indeed the original as created by the author or artist. Your accountant can use the CoA to attest to the precise market value of your work of art at time of purchase. Your insurance broker can also use the CoA for insurance purposes. Provincial or State* law may require a CoA, for the legal sale of intellectual property, fine art, limited editions, fine art prints, etc. Some authorities require more information than others, but these certificates are only created and officially issued by the original artist, author, or his/her agent, publisher, or authorized dealer.
*In United States, some jurisdictions that legally require a CoA for the sale of artwork are: Arkansas, California, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.
Unfortunately, the CoA is also sometimes used by unscrupulous marketers to promote everything from genuine imitation diamonds to mass production photographic prints whose value can only stagnate with every passing minute under such ill-proven "guaranteed value" of a fake CoA. Therefore, whenever you are buying anything with a Certificate of Authenticity you must investigate and validate that this certificate is indeed provided by the original artist or his/her agent and not just a fraudulent sales gimmick. The CoA is intended to protect the consumer by providing pertinent information regarding the artwork: title, size, process, relevant dates, and most importantly the studio or dealer trademark of the authorized dealer or artist's original signature.
Liv Babra issues an official Certificate of Authenticity for every artwork and sculpture ordered, regardless of whether your local authority requires one, and it is included with every sculpture, painting and artifact in good faith. A copy of each certificate will be kept with the artist's copy of the related invoice for later validation. In some areas, reselling an artwork may require having its CoA, please keep yours in a safe place. If your local authority requires additional information, please notify us, Liv@StudioLiv.com.
Although we have slightly modified our Certificate of Authenticity, this is basically what we provide:
